Commercial Satellite Installation
This is a recent installation of a commercial satellite dish for a pub based in Speke, Liverpool. This is the largest of the two Sky antennas – it’s the Zone 2, a 57cm diameter elliptical satellite dish, compared to the standard Zone 1 which is 43cm diameter. The distance between the antenna and set-top box (STB) was over fifty meters hence we used a Zone 2 dish that has higher gain to compensate for the trunk loss down the cable.
